Medieval Knight Templars and Alcobaca Private Tour - Tomar Convent and Alcobaca Monastery 

This is the best private tour to visit two of the most famous UNESCO Heritage Sites in Portugal, the Alcobaca Monastery, built in 1153 and founded by the first Portuguese King Afonso Henriques, and the beautiful Convent of Christ, headquarters for the religious and military orders of the Temple and of Christ.

The order of the Khights Templars was founded at the beginning of the 12th century for protection of the Holy Sepulchre and the Christian pilgrims on their way to Holly land.
